QUANTUM YOGA RETREATS in 2011 will all take place at
Eco-Holistic Wellness Resort SHUNYA IBIZA in the quiet north of the beautiful island of Ibiza.
The remarkable Villa, a Tachyon Centre, and its perfect amenities, large
pool, outdoor covered yoga terrace with breath-taking sunset view,
meditation studio, lecture hall, and massage room, provides lovely cozy
bedrooms with clean and fully functioning ensuite bathrooms,
gardens and forest, are located in a secluded spot of beautiful
countryside in the north of Ibiza island, near
Benirras beach.
Each day will start with a morning seated meditation and pranayama
(breathing exercises) session, followed by a long dynamic yoga practice.
In the afternoon the group meets again for satsang (yoga philosophy
lecture, discussion and Q&A), followed by another more gentle yoga
practice, which will finish just on time to go and watch Ibiza’s
magnificent sunset.
Attendance at classes is always optional; everyone is free to do as they
please, as long as it doesn’t distract the other students. There will be
a day off from yoga so that you can sample some of the many other
delights of Ibiza.
Although the style of yoga taught is challenging and
therefore its effects so rewarding, previous yoga experience is not
essential as the classes will be small (18 students max, allowing for a
good amount of individual attention.
Additionally Lara is usually
accompanied by an assistant teacher, who can give further support to the
students.
The afternoons will be free to visit the numerous beaches of
Ibiza, take trips into the
nearby towns and villages, go for walks or just hang out by the pool at
the villa.
Benirras beach, which is
particularly nice, is a short drive from the house.
The shopping in Ibiza is very good and there are several markets to
visit on the island.
Ibiza is a small island and most places worth a visit are within about
half an hour’s drive.
Due to the secluded location of the villa, it is advisable to hire a
car.

It is a good idea to bring your own yoga mat.
Other travel essentials
such as a torch, a European conversion plug, mosquito
repellant and sun
tan lotion should be in your luggage or purchased once there. |

into the practice and perpetuation of yoga.

One-month Yoga
Alliance-certified (www.yogaalliance.org)
training, that
covers all aspects of yoga, with detailed instructions on Quantum Yoga,
and how to teach.
It covers following themes: Anatomy & Physiology,
Adjustments, Therapeutic Yoga, Post & Pre-Natal Yoga, Yoga for children,
Asana names, groupings and sequencing techniques, the ancient
scriptures such as the Vedas & Upanishads, Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras,
Bhagavad-Gita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Buddhism &
Tantra

Prices include yoga tuition, accommodation, use of
facilities, and
tea/coffee, morning fruits and a daily big
brunch.
Flights are NOT included.

Students usually arrive on Friday evening. The first class is the
